What is level load?

A level load is a fee paid by an investor annually for their distribution and marketing costs associated with a mutual fund. The level load is deducted from their assets. These level load fees have been altered through the years and vary with each type of mutual fund. However the level load of a particular investment does not vary, only from one investment type to another.
