What is expense ratio?
The expense ratio is the amount it costs to operate a mutual fund. The expense ration refers to investment companies only and not individual account holders. The expense ratio is calculated annually and are taken from a fund’s assets. The expense ratio does not include transaction costs or brokerage fees or commissions.
